This year, as one of the primary assignments of Leadership 10, we ran the entirety of the 2024 Girls’ Jokers Classic basketball tournament. My personal contribution to the event this year in particular was a sponsorship from Beau Photo, allowing us to set up a professional team photo booth for all of the teams in the event.
I think that all of the different committees worked really well, and from what I saw and heard there were minimal hiccups throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed getting the chance to use the strobes and other new equipment. The photos turned out well, aside from a few small mistakes, which were somewhat to be expected with any first time with an unfamiliar piece of equipment.
I would like to give a huge thank you to all of the participating teams, all of the adult organizers, and all of the tournament partners for making it once again possible, and even better than past years.
